Springer
I have an 06 Springer and really do like it. I had a NT before and liked it too, but I think the Springer front-end and all the chrome just looks great. Before I bought it, I had heard that the springer doesn't ride as smooth as forks, but I honestly can't tell a difference. In a recent American Iron magazine, a guy does research on the two front ends and finally concludes that a well built, properly tuned Springer actually has a smoother ride than forks. I guess it does require a little more maintenance come service time, but what is $100-$200 more when you are talking about a $17,000 bike? Anyway, I would say if you like it buy it- I'm happy with mine!
How's the price? How many mile's? Go to www.hdtrader.comm. They had 17 05's for sell all price's and mile's. I think there is more Dealer's then private seller's so you know Dealer's ask more. Are you can check N.A.D.A or Kelly Blue Book, but if price is right and you love the bike go for it!!! You only live once!!! Make the best out of it. GOOD LUCK PURPLE HAZE.

I have an FX Springer that I absolutely adore. It stands out in a crowd where ever I go (just not so many around). The ride and the handling are nothing negative. The maintance is costly and more frequent, but if you learn the trade you will be covered. Get the Springer
