Am new here, been in touring section, just bought a second bike, a 2006 Softail standard that was converted into a custom lol. Has 10,000 miles on it, anything I should check or look for before I rack up some miles?

Their was a service bulletin on 06's regarding injectors. Dealers change 6 degree with 25 degree and remap. If you are not experience cold start or cold running issues may not be worth thinking about. Other then that, you're good to go with regular maintenance til ~30k, then check cam chain tensioners.

Also you prob know about the cam tensioners issue on the 88''ers, if not just google about them.

Thanks and yes, my 99 EG would wear out tensioners in 30k miles, after the second set I put in gear drive cams.
