Deluxe rear end vibration

Deluxe rear end vibration
Hello all. My new 2013 deluxe has 700 miles on it so far and I feel a shutter/vibration which seems to be from the motor going back to the rear wheel when I give it a lot of throttle. Traded in 04 dyna on the deluxe and it did not do this. It just flat vibrated/buzzed all the time. also I noticed that when no hands are on the handlebar it pulls to the left pretty hard. Again, dyna would track straight as an arrow. Could these two be related or is the shutter on throttle the softail shake I hear about. When cruising under normal throttle its smooth as silk. Does anyone have an ideas. Thx

2 things comes to my mind.
loose spokes, (easy to check them) and/or you may be accelerating too hard at an Low engine RPM..
There are a few members in here that have reported a Buzz in their engine and ChickinonaChain had to have some work done on his engine for excessive vibration. Even after the dealer worked on it he still has it..
I'd let your dealer know about your concerns and let them look at your bike and check her out while its still under Warranty if it continues..
I've had mine since new in 07 and I've never even felt any buzz or vibration in the 49K miles I've ridden her.

What you're describing should NOT be happening. Neither the vibration nor the pull. I'd suspect something amiss with the rear axle or potentially the drive belt. At any rate I'd take straight to the dealership, do not pass go, and do not be satisfied until it is corrected. Have and '05 Deluxe and it's ride is as smooth as silk. Something is not right.

Are you running stock exhaust? Aftermarket exhaust can be installed grounding out or with tension on mounts and need to be neutralized. As also stated, loose spokes, drive belt misaligned can cause this issue. Set your rear tire lbs @ 41 and the front tire at 38 lbs. Also check your shocks where they are set now. If they are are adjusted forward (stiffest/highest) turn them to the rear (lowest/softest) and ride it and see if your issue gets worse or better. If these areas check out, I would not worry about it until you have it broke in. Put a few thousand miles on it. Many times this kind of issue goes away.
