I just picked up a brand new 08 softail deluxe in white gold pearl / black pearl. She's a beaut! My last ride was an 06 883L / 1200 conversion. The dealer gave me a great trade offer towards the deluxe.
I love the deluxe. I also have some questions. I notice that sometimes while riding at a steady speed or decelerating I feel a little bouncing in the front end. I had a harley tech ride it and he thought it was perfectly fine. It doesn't wobble, but I just seem to have some light bouncing. i have no problems keeping a straight line and the bouncing isn't rough, just a gentle up and down of the forks while riding. normal feedback from the road?
