I have a good bit of vibration in my handle bars and floor boards while cruising in the higher gears. Also, when shifting from 5th to 6th gear between 60 - 70 mph the engine rattles/shakes. Has anyone else experienced this with the 07 Deluxe? It is very uncomfortable on long rides.
PS - Just turned 5 K

I have this same thing going on with my 08 fatboy. In 5th and 6th gear between 60 - 75 mph the engine shakes/vibrates and you can feel it in the handle bars, floor boards and seat. It even does it in the lower gears when you get on it. It drives me crazy. Mine started at 5K also. It seems to have started sometime after the dealer did the 5K service. If you happen to find out what it is please let me know.

Same bike and that's the exact same thing mine just started doing at 6.5K miles. About a week ago.
Something is definitely not right. Have you gone back to the dealer and had them take it out for a test ride. Sounds like the counter balance is out of whack. Some have needed a rebuild because of the balancer out of adjustment at the crank.
I appreciate the reply's. I'll put it in the shop for the 5K service within the next week. I will have them test ride it and mention the counter balance. Thanks.
I have an 07 Fatboy with 15K that just started vibrating at higher RPM's, most noticable in 2nd, 3rd,4th and 5th gears. Higher speeds not a problem, just high RPM's. I just replaced the rear tire when I started to notice it, took it back to shop and they could not find anything wrong. I would think if it's the tire it would vibrate and high speeds on high RPM's? Any suggestions?
