its a forcewinder intake. ran about 5bills after getting the mount bracket the company doesnt mention you need... i got the bracket at local hd dealership. got the intake online at cyclecustomizing.com. i put that on and the supertrapp legends pipes and had it rejetted by hd, big boost in power. at least it feels like it. plus great sound. Nice looking bike Alien Spyder. Would you mind telling me what your new tins cost you?

DustyF
Hey guys! Thanks for the comments on my new tins.

Paintjobs are a dime a dozen on Ebay.

Last Nov. I was able to win a Fast Eddie Paint Job on Ebay. The tins had never been mounted and came with the certificate of authenticity. It was tin set #32 of 200.

The wife & I loved the Fast Eddie flames and I was going to mount them in the spring.

In January whild surfing Ebay I found this Alien Spider tin set. I've always loved the Alien Spider radical tins but never thought I'd ever be able to afford them.

I immediatly called the seller. He answered a few of my questions and against my wife's wishes.............I bought the Spider Tins.

Once the Spider tins arrived the wife admitted that they blow away the flames.

I ended up selling the Fast Eddies for what I paid for the Alien Spider set so I'm "even Steven".

hello,
hey can anyone tell me what the exact size the rear wheel is on the 06 Nightrain? not the 200mm tire, but the rim itself from the factory. I want to replace mine with a spoke wheel, but I cant seem to find the right size, is is 18x8.5 ?

I guess 8.5 is the width to accept the tire? if anyone knows please post or send me an email at jrb281@***.net

thanks!

Great looking bikes!

I know its only a 17 inch rim not an 18, but I'm not sure about the width.
Sorry.

To all,
I purchased my new 06 NT in Feb, and just got my bike back last weekend with new pipes, air-filter, and cover....she's bitching! I can't stop thinking about her.

thanks to some forum help from davzdorado, i have found the answer. the stock rear wheel is 17x6 200/55-17 and u can fit a 17x6.25 210/50-17 . I called the website where this info is posted and they confirmed it, they also said that you can put an 18x5.5 on the night train, but you would have to go with a lower profile tire, but by doing so it would be the same height as the factory stock, ie bigger rim, lower profile tire.

Later I was placing an order for some battasanti black grips from arlen ness, and mr battasanti himself actually answered the telephone, that was cool, sorry if i murdered the spelling of your name, anyhow, he got to talking about designing bikes and a new line of wheel, so I asked him the same question, what is the stock rear wheel, and what others will fit? his answer was the exact same as the one above, so thats two different sources.

anyways, hope that helps anyone else looking for a rim size. there is actually a very good chart that covers all harley wheel sizes at www.hdwheels.com thanks again to davzdorado for your help.
