Hey , anyone going to daytona in october . Live in fort myers , fl .?

 

Ill be staying in Ormond Beach. When the time gets closer i was planning on trying to organize a get together for any board members that wanted to meet up.

 

Im deffinetly going to try to make a run down there. Dont have any plans as of yet as to were to stay.

 

If anyone is very familiar with say the Ormond or Lfagler beach area maybe you can suggest somewhere we could all meet up for lunch or dinner one day. Im suggesting Ormond or Flagler beach just so we can avoid the crowds in Daytona. Or we could try and just schedule a day and exchange cell #s then get the place nailed down after we get there. My guess would be it will be easier to get a big table at lunch than dinner.

 

if you dont mind camping, a great place to stay is holiday travel park at the old dixie hwy exit. reasonable prices, there is always room, and it's clean. that's where i will be staying.

 

I will be staying in S.t. cloud probably ( south west of daytona ) . Wouldn't mind hooking up with anyone , and if anyone is in my area (south west fl ) let me know and we can roll together .

 

What week in October is this event?
I would like to ride down their for a day or two,
if I can swing a couple of days off. It's hard to
get time off where I work, unless you have it
on the books way ahead of time, like by the
end of February

 

I believe it is the weekend of october 21 ( probably the 20 21 22 23 24 ) . It will be my first biketobefest and am looking forward to it .

 

Can anyone recommend a reasonable place without a four nite minimum? I'd like to go for a day or two, but can't swing four nights. Maybe someplace within a hour of Daytona?
