After my first time I said the same thing. It was just a money pit. I let some friends of mine talk me into going again a few years later and I had a blast. They had been many times and knew ever off the wall place to visit etc. If you really know where to go it is a really great place to visit. We try to take a few new guys every time and they all have a good time. We go every Bike Week and every Biketoberfest.
Hey you are welcome to ride with us. We are leaving Thursday morning. Several different good routes. Just depends on how much time you have.
