I have an 09 iron looking at seat options. Anyone have experience with these? http://motheroadcustoms.auctivacomme...t-P694437.aspx

I inquired about the same seat here a couple months ago and I never received much feedback. I have an '07 Roadster. Hopefully someone will respond.

Buy it directly from Rich Phillips. That is who makes their seats. I have a tool bag, seat and swing arm bag I ordered from them. They also have a store front on eBay.

The '07 - '09 have the ECM under the seat which limits our option for seats. This particular solo seat has a metal cover for the ECM. That's what we're interested in. How does it perform?

It's a seat pan it doesn't perform. It's just a cover. The seat and springs are what really function.

What year is you bike? With the '07 - '09 I've heard that the seat can bottom out and hit the ECM cover. How much of an issue this is I don't know. Would to hear from somebody with direct experience.

Here are some options that are comfortable, accommodate the ECM, are made in the USA, have a lot of option, and are more affordable.

Check them out HERE

There are three complete kits that include "suspension" for the seats. Is there a major difference in ride comfort between the barrel springs, scissor springs, or seat shocks?

The barrel springs are the most comfortable and provide the most travel, with the the shocks coming in a close second.
