Street Bob Bars on Iron 883?
Did a quick search on the topic and couldn't find it so here's my situation:
My wife has a '12 Iron and has been wanting taller bars for a while to ease the stress on her back during longer rides. I've wanted new bars on my '14 Street Bob so I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and just powder coat my stock bars and put them on her bike. I know I'll have to get a cable/wire kit for her bike but is there any reason it wouldn't work? As far as I know they're both 1 inch bars. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the bottom width might look a little weird on the narrower front end. If anyone has any advice or opinions I'm open to them. Thanks in advance.

Don't see why it wouldn't work.
The iron bars are 4 3/4" wide at the base and the street bob are 8".

I would think you would notice the width less when they're black.
If they're comfy , go for it , you might start a trend ....
