RoyRules, I started reading this thread with normal interest; but as I went from page to page of posts, I realized that you were starting to go crazy! I was amazed from page to page just how much work you were putting into this project. I also found myself trying to guess what part of the bike you would work on next. I really couldn't have guessed the speedo swap and front turn signal relocation. The air cleaner is amazing. At some point, I was like... "This is perfect. He can't have anything else planned." Then you have the bike in pieces with wires everywhere!!! Truly amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Zensmile - it's been an ongoing project, but obviously most of the work is done. I saw several bikes where I liked a few things about them, but not the whole look - or the cost that went into the build. I definitely did this on a budget and took my time to control costs and now I have a bike that I love. The 1250 Hammer Performance kit is still on my wishlist... we'll see if it ever happens.
Here's my build break down:
Most expensive mod - PowerVision tuner/gauges
Most difficult mod - Rear fender and struts chop
Scariest mod - ECM relocation and re-routing the wiring
Mod I would recommend the most - Patoriot Exhaust... it sounds amazing and it's the best performing pipe on the market - just check out Hammer's website and scroll through all of the data they have on it!
