Default Seat and mirror

Ok, so my 2001 Sportster C has the original seat and its dead. So I am looking for a solo seat that is comfortable for longer rides beyond 2-3 hours and won't break the bank. Also, the mirrors on the bike show me only my shirt because they're crap, so I'm looking for a good set that show following traffic. Looking for advice. thx

Kuryakan makes a nice set of mirror extenders. Amazon sells them for around $33 shipped.
Mustang is hard to beat for seats

I'd fiddle with the mirror adjustments a bit before spending money on replacements or extension - unless the ball joints are so sloppy that they won't hold a position. Just loosen the jam nut and rotate one at a time until you can see behind you. It's pretty easy to do, although it may take a couple of tweaks to get them exactly dialed in so you can see well in your riding position.
