Sportys are great tourers if set up right. This is my 2005 1200 XLC. Didn't have as many options for bags years ago and I went with Harley bags...found out after the install just how tiny they are but they were paid for by then. The Sportster Sundowner seat has been great on 16 hour day rides and I am 55. Have other tourers now including Ultras and Urals but love my Sportster. Heated grips are nice too lol
