Default Where did the oil tank and battery go??

I have a Nightster that I will be modifying this winter and have been looking for ideas. I came across this picture today and was hoping some of you guys would help me out with a couple of questions:

1) where do you think the oil tank and batter are? I really like the clean look they got by moving them from the rear frame.

2) was the fork shortened somehow? The top of the fork seems to stick out further from the triple tree clamp (I think that's what the upper part that attaches the fork to the frame is called..) than mine.

3) Was the lower engine cover cut or are can you buy them that way? are there any down sides to doing this?

Thanks,

the frame was modified so the oil would go into it the electrical is in the front portion of the bike

the forks looks like they were just pushed higher into the trees

and if you mean the pulley cover where the belt is - its just a cover to protect u and the bike

elfnyc, how was the frame modified? I'm having trouble understanding what you mean about where the oil tank...

Also, I'm not seeing where you think the battery and electrical was stashed. Can you elaborate?

Here is the link to the website with more pictures: http://zadigmotorcycles.com/zss883-one-punch-mickey/

Lastly, what would pushing the fork more into the trees do to the height and ride of the bike?

the frame is the oil tank the oil resides in the frame -- i guess they made a tank in the tubes of the frame or added a tank to the very front of the scoot i cant tell with the photos i see but it looks like they changed the battery style as well
look at the front of the bike u can see something that looks like a small tank and a battery maybe

the key and coil is on the right side of the bike behind the jugs - the battery ? my guess on the front down tubes
the rest of the wires im guessing is under the tank -- hard to say its just my guess on those locations

but the oil does reside in the frame it says

the forks were dropped through the yokes and the internals were correspondingly upgraded with firm progressive springs.

as far as ride or height im not sure it would feel better or worse - it looks weird to me though - if you lower the front you should lower the back the same amount so its not sitting higher or lower in the front or back ..

The oil is in the frame, notice the larger tubes under the seat area.

You can buy batteries now that are very small but powerful enough to start a bus, probably along the front of the frame, see how thick it is there?

that is the ugliest bike I have ever seen, did you notice it was for sale? If it was mine I would want to sell it too!http://zadigmotorcycles.com/zss883-one-punch-mickey/

Cause it to bottom out if it ran over a marble. From the looks of the exhaust openings it hasn't been run, the way those pipes are twisted I am wondering if it a symbol of his mind, probably just haul it around to the shows and take ugliest trophies. Have to give him E for effort though. Best example of how to turn a good bike into a garage queen I've seen.

the bike was built for charity , not for fame or cash or greed
the builder gets into minds of charachters/or the person he builds for to get what hes lookin for - this aka "one punch sportster" was based on a brad pitt charachter from fight club i think
it is kinda ugly - but to each their own - at least it was built for a good cause ... but i agree with u 100%

How long can you ride it for before your butt catches fire?

Good initiative to twist up a bike like that, but IMO poor judgement- no way that could be anything but a trailer queen.

The grunge look is okay, I suppose, but my first thought was that even a small bump or pot hole in the road could easily result in eating a face full of fork tubes. (Not to mention needing a flame-resistant pair of pants to deal with that exhaust!)

My last and final comment will be directed toward the young lady shown on the contraption- she's pretty enough, but girlfriend needs to eat a few sandwiches and get some meat on those bones!
