Default How much more and anything else?

I have a Sportster 2001XLH883. I'm considering buying a 2005 1200C.

Although the 883 performes beautifully, itmight be funto have even more 'punch'.
Would I notice a big difference in power?
Is there anything else I would notice?

You may notice a little less vibration since the 2005 is rubber mounted. Yes there is a difference in performance.

I'd go with the 1200. It will be a natural Viagra!

Just do the 1200 conversion to your 883, unless you don't like the color/setup you currently have.

i second doing a 1200 conversion. You still have all the harley tax's youve paid on your bike. And you still get your punch. It will defently be cheaper, plus while your there you can throw in a cam, or do a 1250 kit. And get even faster for less money.

The kit is the way to go. I did it. It works great and it's a lot less expensive than paying HD tax all over again.

Default conversion? can't wait..

thanks for the advice. conversion is probably a good idea but it would take too long.
When I called this morning, the salesman asked; "When would you like it?"
I said; "It's a toy. I want it now! Have it ready this aft. or I'll keep my 883."
they had it ready by 4:00.
this '051200C is faster in the top end and is smoother because of rubber mounts. ( I had an '01 883)

thanks again for the advice folks. ..this is a great forum.
sunny and warm tomorrow..I can hardly wait.

I also suggest you to do the 1200 conversion unless you want spend more $$ for a rubber mounted engine, more chrome, just different look.
Would you notice the difference in power? Hell yes!

thx 128auto.
I did decide to spend more $$ on rubber mounted..chrome..and a diff. look. ( glad I did..the rubber mounts make for a much smoother ride. )
and u'r right...I do notice a big diff. in power.

the day is starting-out sunny and warm...I'm excited like a kid on xmas morning. Man 'o man HD can make good bikes!
thx again,
