1999 sportster 883 keeps draining the battery while running. Need help.

Default 1999 sportster 883 keeps draining the battery while running. Need help.

I ride this bike 3 hour a day and last week it died on my ride lost speedometer power.

Welcome to the Forum

Sounds like your have a charging issue. Do you have a multimeter to see if your getting a charge at the battery?

battery not receiving charge while running.

I would start looking into the stator and voltage regulator. But always double check the fuses.

If that's not a guess, and you've actually tested that with a meter, then critter85 is right. Stator and VR are next on the list of things to check.
