Quest for the best not so loud exhaust for Iron 883
Hello Riders, 2 years back I remembered seeing my first 2016 Iron 883 at my friends apartment parking lot. I fell in love and now own a 2015 Iron 883.
So as many should know the 2015 Iron 883 comes stock with chrome exhaust, I also have installed the kuryakyn thunder sound bar on my handle bars. What my goal is that I’m trying to accomplish is. Black out my exhaust, get a better sound, and without being too loud that will overpower my kuryakyn sound bar.
Everyone knows own the stock exhaust sounds like a angry sewing machine. Some ideas I have is the Screamin Eagle Street Cannon slip on mufflers with slotted heat shield? (Expensive I could get a full system exhaust for exact same price.) can’t find any good deals online.
Rush slip on 1.75 baffles or even quieter baffles?
cobra slip on with quiet baffles.
Twin slash Vanes and Hines with super quiet baffles?
Any suggestion would be great thanks!

Cobra doesn’t sell baffles. Believe they are what they are when you buy them.
Im not sure what your sound bar is or how loud it is. The cobra has a nice rumble and is loud when you get on it. If you want quite screaming eagles are the ones you may want. For my needs the cobra was perfect. It’s not as loud as v&h short shots.

I'm i did research on the cobra speedster. It sounds great but I'm worried it might overpower my speakers when idling or at cruising speeds

A couple of weeks ago I installed the Screaming Eagles on my bike and couldn't be happier, they don't require an aftermarket air intake or a tuner. When I bought the bike it had V&H short shots which were way to loud and caused the bike to run crappy because it didn't have an after market air intake so I installed the stock mufflers which made the bike run great but sounded like a Honda. If listening to music is important you may consider ear buds.
