I have a 2010 883 sportster. Idle speed with cold engine is about 1200rpm and drops down after 2-3 minutes. I can ride for an hour, stop for 15 minutes, and when I restart the engine It is back up to 12-1300 rpms as if its doing a new cold start. There is also the smell of gas. could it be that the engine temp sensor is bad?
