Yes indeed. I had to get a longer rod. I chose to make it fully adjustable using a
Quarter Midget racing radius rod and RH/LH heim joints....

This pic shows the DK Customs (not easily adjustable RH-only heims) brake rod and the Quarter Midget
radius rod (setup for RH/LH heims) that I used.

As for the brake rod, some time back I bought a set of RH and LH thread sets for 3/8". The plan was to make an easily adjustable heim joint brake rod. Both are SAE fine thread. So when it comes to that issue, I have it covered.
