Default Air Dam/Chin Spoiler mounting point

I would like to bolt 'something' to the horizontal bar beneath the Voltage Reg (See Pic) on my 2007 XL1200C. I do not like the stock painted air dams/chin spoilers. Where could I get a chrome/polished metal air dam/chin spoiler? Also, has anyone fitted anything else to this bracket for example a decorative badge or a toolkit etc etc?

WARNING: this bar is placed for the mounting or hanging of Gremlin Bells only..placing anything else there may expose you to attack by the Nasty Buggers of The Roadway. LOL

I would think you could put just about anything you wanted there, as long as it don't interfere with steering and cooling etc...

That being said... a fork bag, I would think, could get pretty nasty there in bad weather...

But I guess those who only ride when the weather is perfect... then yeah....

You might be right. EPA laws get tougher every year to meet with an air-cooled engine. Sooner or later all H-D's will be liquid cooled.

I'll be mounting my spoiler there. I'll have to over lap my engine gaurd. It'll look sweet though!
