Sister-in-Law jut bought a used 2007 883 Low.

My Brotherplans to install a HD engine guard.

The one on my Low Rider attaches at the top of the frame, and uses
2 u-bolts to attach to the bottom of the frame.

Same deal with the onefor the 883L?

Hmmm, I'll have to look at mine now. I don't recall Ubolts on the bottom. I'm gonna check when I leave the office tonight.

 

On the 07 883C there are no u-bolts. There are two threaded mounting holes on the bottom of the frame which hold the bottom, at the top the guard bolts to the bracket holding the horn. Takes 5 minutes to install (ok... maybe 10 minutes). Same on the 1200C.
