Stop by a machine shop, us machinists are a pretty resourcefull bunch, as most of us ride too. I'm sure there will be someone there that can either do the job or help you to do it.

I bought mine from Harley and they were pretty reasonable price and easy to install.
Only problem was one of the new motor mounts bolt holes was fudged up. Luckily we had a tap set available to use to fix it.

I am doing the DIY mod on mine. Got everything cut, drilled ready for welding.

I am not sure how the oher mods are, but the DIY mod does not work with std pipes

Based on the replies so far, it looks like some things need to be clarified. The post above refers to fwd control kits for 04 & up model bikes and won't work on 2001 bikes. I am also assuming from your question, when read closely, that you are looking to extend your existing fwd controls even further forward. Is that correct or does his 1200C currently have mid controls?

Kuryakyn makes a 2" and 4" offset peg extentions. I put 'em on my '04 1200C.. I'm 6'4" and the 2 inchers made alot of difference
