Default Winter mods

Just completed my winter mods for my 04 sportster just in time for Bike Week. A buddy and i are packing up on saturday morning and heading down. Both our bikes have been taking up his entire living room for the past few weeks getting them ready.

bought the bike off someone that tore it apart to do a project, but then didnt have the funds so he decided to sell to me. Bike was droped in the grass so i had to replace handlebars, a blinker and waiting on a set of mirrors. First picture is of what bike looked like when we rolled it in and the second is what it looks like after modifications, getting really anxious to get it out next week after we ditch this snow we have and head south.

Let me know what you think.

Not to bad mouth your bike wich I think looks F@cking sweet, but I'd like to see the side covers color matched and I nice set of billet rims mabey with colormatched inlays.

I think the black looks good, expecially because im planing on tieing more black into the bike. You cant see but the drag bars are black and i want to paint the rough part of my mag wheels black and leave the polished part...well polished. Well thats the next project at least, that and possibly the black roadster decal for the tank, black lowers and black springs on my rear shocks.

True the side covers go good with the frame and shocks if you get them in black. Either way its a sweet ride.

dude that looks NICE!!!

this is the route im going when i buy a used 86-91 sporty in a few months. but with a V&H SSR2 exhuast, hypercharger aircleaner, and rear set pegs. maybe a cafe seat or fatbob fender. not decided.

im either going with the color white, like my current bike, or bright red. with racing numbers and everything as well.

Finally got out on it the other day, inbetween snows...and love the thing...little disappointed at the sound of the SEII pipes at idol, but when i had my buddy ride it down the street, just to hear the sound, it gave off a much better sound. I might get some pipes down the road but for now im very pleased. We just got another 10inches last night, but looks like its going to start warming up, cant wait for the season to begin!
