Ace, What is your elevation where you live? are you at or below 1000 feet above sea level? If so a 45 pilot and a 185 main should be the set up you need for those pipes.
If you continue to have pops on decel you may wanna check for vacuum leaks at the carburator/intake manifolddonut and at the areas where the intake manifold meet the engine.
You may have a leak at either one of those places. Do this before you start messing with the jetting.

I had the prob in the same spot BTrash has mentioned on my last Carbed sporty (96 883), drove me nuts...changed that and it worked fine.................B
