RE: how fast can i charge my battery on the bike?
fast = boiled = ruined battery
Really the best way is to just put a battery tender on it and let it charge it at it's own rate. \\; Tenders will also go into maintenance mode once fully charged. \\; A 2 amp charger will just keep charging until the timer shuts it off.

If you got a "switching" charger it doesn't matter the settings. A switching (electronic) charger will charge til the battery is fully loaded, shut off, and then go to "trickle" charging. You can leave the charger on for a 100 years. You could get one for 20-50 $. It is certainally worth the money. It will keep you battery in shape for years.
