i would like to relocate and change my turn signals from the large which i have now, to a smaller kind. i have an 05 1200 custom with a security system , Im wondering if i change to a light that has the same voltage, so i dont have to buy the wiring harneses?

It depends on what bulb is being used in the "smaller kind" you mention. If these use incandesent lamps, you'll probably be all right. If they're LED, it becomes another issue.
