The hardest part will be to get the stock slip ons off. They can be a booger to remove. Putting the 2" slip ons on will be easy.

Default Rush slip-ons

I have no mechanical experience and it was a breeze putting them on. Just need a socket set and a screwdriver. My bike was brand new when i put mine on and i had to use a squirt of wd-40 to get the stock mufflers off. Gave it a squirt let it set for a few minutes and came right off. Highly recommend Rush slip-ons! Great sound, with a little pop and crackle... which i did.

Hubby installed my Rush slip-ons - with 2.25" baffles. I stayed inside, and I didn't hear TOO much swearing ! I don't remember how long it took but it wasn't all that long. (He took longer, and did WAY more swearing putting my forward controls on) As for how I like them - I LOVE them. And I get lots of compliments on the deep rumble sound. Nothing else was done - no new air cleaner, no power commander, etc. Dealer of course recommends all of that plus dyno tuning - and it would ONLY cost me about a grand! When I asked if I was doing damage to the bike by NOT having that stuff done, all they could say was "well, it's popping a little", and "we just wouldn't want anything to happen down the road". So for now, I am not doing anything else, and the bike runs just fine. Yes, SOME popping on decel now and then, but not all the time.

How do you guys think they compare to the Rinehart slip ons?
I don't know which is better Rush or Rinehart for performance and sound.
Thanks
