Default Blue Xenon bulbs

Anyone use these bulbs in their headlights? Any feedback on them?

Expensive. Put in my car a few yrars back and they burned out quickly. They are bright though. I do believe in maximum visibility while on the road. Brights at all times for me. I had the sylvania silverstar on the bike and it was also bright but burned out quickly. I got a cheapie bright white bulb from JC Whitney and it is still going strong. I can't remember the price on it. Go figure, the cheaper bulb lasts longer.

yeah..want these people to see me coming. I know they will still pull out in front of me no matter what kind of light I have. Guy turned in front of me when I was a teenager, landed on his trunk..don't need that again.

better be a one shot kill around here, or you'll be the one getting toasted. only issues I've ever had with these are when folks aim the light up to get more distance out of the low beams. when you go hi at that point, it really can cause more problems that it solves...

Good... that means they saw me.

Better them have to avert their eyes for a second or two vs my getting splattered all over their windshield.

What happens when they "avert their eyes for a second or two", and drift right into your lane? SPLAT

Unless those lights are aimed correctly, I hate them. And it seems that VERY FEW actually aim them right!

But, they do put out a lot of light! I just wish people would learn how to aim their lights.

Oh yeah, I also hate many of the driving lights on newer cars.

I thought I heard... around here anyway that they are a no-no... the police will write you a little letter saying so...

Could be wrong though...
