I have an 06 Xl883L
I ride it like a bike is meant to be ridden but really need a tach
Is there a speedo tach combo out there or what have u guys done?
Being new to these bikes do u use mph as shift points?
I am trying not to spend a whole lot of cash on this bike and am looking for the forums advice

Yea, there is a combo speedo/tach th the HD accessories catalog. About $500.00

 

Does anyone know of a rpm to mph calculator for the 883? I tried googling, actually found a link to this forum but the chart was missing.

 

yeah i have the speedo/tach combo . not cheap but i like it.. other is you can get a tach that mount above the speedo.. i have pics of both on my bike..

 

I got the HD tach that matches the spedo and love it and it matches the spedo perfect.

 

had the same one like yours on my bike , but couldnt get it to work even had a shift light on it to..

 

Bought my tach from e-bay, Brandon Harley in Fl. had it and have seen more. 230 bucks. Matches speedo. easy install,just plugs in. install takes about 1 hr.

Good info on the chart Charley thanks... Been without a tach so long on the Sporty do it all by sound now although love the Tach on the EGS ... but will leave the Sporty be...
