I will try that when it cools off. What is your definition of 'resistence' :

1) first time I feel 'tension' turning the screw ccw
2) the point at which there is enough 'tension' that you would put a little final umph to tighten - like finishing a screw a hair past flush?

But from what it seems your saying - its the back off that has a bigger part of the friction point so I will keep that in mind.

This is an R....it would have been cool if the designers could have thought about it one more day before placing one of the derby bolts behind the peg. Not a big deal...just sayin.

Gramm - good trick on going clockwise first I will try that too.
