Cam swap

Putting cams in it will be useless unless you do some head work to go with them.
The day you buy the bike order the Harley Service manual for it. They are worth their weight in gold.
Cam changes arn't bad at all. Heres a link to one of a few places out there where you can do a little research.

What is it about a 90's model and head work?
Should I stay away from the 90's model sportsters? I am not educated enough on the various models to know if some are better than others. I had read a post here that stated the 95 to 99 models were some of the best years made and that is why I was looking for that year of a bike.
Some of the bikes I am looking at have already had mods to them so I might be ahead of the game when I do purchase one....
