been riding with a blown ACL and meniscus for a year now. bad spill over a huge set of jumps on the bmx ended my riding career but i don't need my knees as much for the motorcycle. long rides, i tend to move it around a lot. i know i need surgery and may get it done this fall but i'm not looking forwarde to the rehab. fuhk!

Right there with you BMX, but my problems were around 10 years ago and I'm still putting it off. I use to be heavy into serious weight lifting and several years after a few hyper extensions, a torn ACL and some various other issues, it's starting to be more and more painful.

After many, many years of martial arts my knees are in pretty shape, sometimes it hurts like he11, just standing up.
I had forward controls on a Super Glide and a Low Rider that I had. I would put my legs on top of the pegs with my toes pointed slightly outwards when I could and that helped a lot.
I now own an Ultra and with the floor boards and highway pegs, my knees feel much better. But moving that thing around is another story... oh well, you make due with what you have...
