I'm looking to extend my legs a little more. I've also looked at the forward control extension kit from Arlen Ness, but this seat will lower me a good couple inches more than stock, and move me farther back on the back. I like the idea.
I put the seat on my Deluxe a few years ago when I dumped the uncomfortable stock seat. It was a huge improvement. The seat moves you back at least 2" and is good for several hundred mile trips for me and the wife. The seat provides a bit of back support which is nice and the wife only has good things to say about the ride. This seat is far more comfortable than the Silhouette (which I have on a Heritage). The best part is being able to stretch out on the Deluxe instead of being cramped up on the stocker. I don't have forward controls but ride 90%+ with my feet stretched out on the highway pegs. SJ Ron
I have the Le Pera Silhouette on my bike (pic below) and it is SO nice to stretch your legs out. Huge difference from stock. 'course it's not meant for long trips, but the Daddy Long Legs looks the part.
I've got the regular Maverick on my bike. I can't compare it to much, since this is my first Harley, but it is very comfortable compared to the three different seats I had on my Honda.
I'm 5'7" and I can easily put both feet down flat-footed. I haven't ridden more than two hours at a time yet, but no discomfort whatsoever so far.
