Default New Rallyrunner seat

Just picked up a new Rallyrunner seat for my 883C. I'm 6 foot with long legs and on longer rides feel a little cramped even with forward controls. This seat moves me back for more long ride comfort but also looks decent even with the rather large pass pillion. The seat, like the stock one was when new, is pretty hard but I suspect this will go away with time. The only problem I'm having is that it doesn't have the metal piece in the middle on the bottom that connects to the bolt in front of the ECM. Because of that the front attachment seems to slide around slightly. I can prob build something to take care of that though. Could be because of the PCIII jammed under it.

Anyway, does anyone here have this seat? What do you think of it? Just thought I'd ask.

Not yet with it on. Will add some tomorrow. Started raining as soon as I got home from riding and I'm young and poor so she stays covered outside.

I had the same problem when I installed my Sidekick seat. The tab on the front of the seat is narrower than the mounting slot on the frame. I riveted a wider piece of aluminum to the mounting tab on the seat. I haven't taken any pictures, but I can if anyone wants to see what I did.

I didn't take any pictures of the original tab...
Here is the aluminum strap riveted to the seat mount tab:

Here is the slot on the frame:

The first tab I tried to make was fitted to the slot shape a bit better, but when I went over hard bumps the seat flexing allowed the tab to shift a bit from side to side. This square tab still allows flexing of the seat pan but doesn't allow shifting. I experimented with some rubber around the new tab and decided it wasn't needed and made it hard to mount the seat into the slot with my Haulen *** backrest.
