I like the usefulness. Still getting used to the looks but definitely like the idea. It would probably look less out of place with bags and would probably look fine with hard bags.
I like your installation. A large rear pack is light years ahead of most saddlebags in capacity and convenience. And strangely enough, the rear pack has never stopped my bike from rolling into to a bar.
