Default Oil filler cap leaks

I have just picked up a brand new 1200C, now has 400 miles on the clock, still running in, last ride of maybe 70 miles hopped off and noticed the rear half of the right hand side of the bike was sprayed with oil, then noticed that the oil tank had streaks of oil running down the side from the pop up oil filler cap, but that was firmly seated home. Rung the dealer who asked me to ride it back, about an hour's ride, after questioning his parentage I suggested he come and collect it, which they did, never heard a word since.

Anyone come across this problem with the 1200C before and anyone know a good gun supplier (only kidding, it's illegal here in the UK).

Default RE: Oil filler cap leaks

Sorry about your problems. I am only aware of the repeated complaints about the temperature-guage dipstick leaking because of a slightly smaller O-ring.
