I just ordered some lights from Joe Florida. We'll see how they turn out. They are a 60 light kit. in red.

to be honest I was thinking the same thing with my 09 Iron. I was curious as how Red would look on it...but I've only seen these on chromed out bikes (which looks sick BTW).[/quote]
sorry for the crappy pic but this is my 09 when the pipes were still chrome. they are more visible than they look. i didnt buy a kit though either there are 2 led trailer marker lights up under the tank wired into the licence plate light

not sure about other states but SD allows red as long as it doesent flash or is visible when meeting the vehicle head on. i havnt gotten any crap for mine yet.

i dont think i'll have a problem...if i see a cop i'll just hit the switch and turn em off. the kit comes with 60 lights in 2 strips...i can cut the strips to distribute the lights better...i'm pretty stoked...they should get here in a couple of days...i'll post up some pics.

I don't think you'll have a problem either. I see nothing but red lights on bikes and Texas forbids red light visible from the front.
