Nitrous for Nightster???
I know a few guys that have done it. Be warned.....None of them are running a stock motor. Heres a good start.
Thanks,
Thats what I'm wondering about, how far away from stock I have to go to make things work properly, what needs to be changed and any other things I should know about from experience.

Just a thought here...but rather than blow up whats an otherwise sweet ride and have to lay out $3500 for a new motor, why not just buy a used Buell or god forbid a japanese liter bike that will blow the **** out of a nitroused Sporty. That way you have both. Best of both worlds.

Almo , I would get another sporty so will have that to ride WHEN you blow up your Nightster, you obviously have no experience in this area as shown by your asking questions on this forum, your sweet ride will be broke by the time you learn. Now before you get all puffed up and tell me how big of an *** I am by saying this, I am only trying to give you my opinion and it would be a shame to melt down a nice ride. I love those Nightsters!
Depending on if you have a carb... Have you ever heard of a "Sneeky Pete?" Summit Racing sells a sweet little 10oz fogger. www.summitracing.com/parts/NOS-05029NOS/ $247.95 I've installed these on carb only scoots from an 883 to an Ultima 127 It could give you the "kick" you want.
Oh and I forgot to tell you that as soon as you hang that bottle on your bike no one will want to run you and when you beat someone they will just look at you and say "Well you should beat me , you got nitrous"

You hit the nail on the head. No one will want to race him. I only use mine on the track. Personally, I would not put one on my daily scoot. Just my 2cents.
Never said to leave it alone , check out NRHS website for ideas Zippers does well on sporty's too, those things haul *** when done right, not many(if any) big inch street big twins will kick sand on a well prepped sportster.
