Drag Bar Dimensions???
Hi All,
Well I am the new owner of an '07 Nightster (my 4th Harley to date) and I am getting ready to do modifications. First thing is putting drag bars on. What are the dimensions of your drag bars? Width (24", 32")? Pullback? Center?
I want to make sure the hand controls don't hit the tank, but that they look nice and tight to the rest of the bike.
Also, the bike came with chrome Vance & Hines Shortshots staggered. Is there anyone willing to trade for the same pipes in black?

I'm not sure how long my drag bars are? thye are a 15 degree sweep on a set of HD 4" pull back risers and they just clear the tank and I mean just clear it. Ther are so close that i never let the bars slam form lock to lock when moving it around or setting it on the side stand. I am thinking about going back to a stock riser, but i'm not sure they will clear the tank then?

Mine are 32" with the stock riser and the controls miss the tank by about 1/8" at full lock. (we have the same size tank but not sure if the riser is the same).
I moved the signals down at the same time and flipped the mirrors to below the bars because with the drag bars you only see your arms in the mirror.

Yeah I have the Peanut tank like you. No matter what I need to rock my bars forward some since the dealer that put them on made then levers aim upwards so any aftermarket mirror I use just looks at the ground LOL! I might even go back to one stock mirror and invert it like you did.
