Default Just discovered "SIK PIPES"...

Anyone have any experience with them? How do they sound etc.

http://www.sikpipes.com/

I can't seem to find much about them online but the pipes on the site look WICKED!!! I specifically like the "Diesel" wrapped pipes, they look BAD @$$ and would look insane on my Nightster!!!

It's about time a company (big or small) focused the pipe market toward the XL! I HATE finding a sweet set of pipes that I would like on my scoot then finding out they're not available for the sporty.

So what's everyone's opinion on them???

they all look cool as hell, really aggressive styling.

the diesels would look awesome on your bike.

i like the double shots, short AND curvy isn't something you see too often.

i'd imagine they're really loud as they dont seem to be baffled, but then again not too much info on the website.

if they're not baffled, you'd need a good tune so as to not completely rob your bike of power.

seems worth an e-mail to the guy for some more info. good luck.

I'm sure you'd break a few local noise ordinances with any of those...

I ordered mine on the 26th and they are going to be at my door on the 29th as soon as i get them on i'll post a vidieo. I got the Menace black with black wrap, screaming eagle heavy breather, with a PC5. SIK PIPES even gave me the map for the set up i have. Can't wait to bolt them on!! Oh he told me if I wanted to here the sound check: Buell Chopper or Sportster Chopper on youtube, hope that helps.

I looked into getting the "Double Barrels" a few months ago. I think it was $440 or so. I did confirm they are NOT baffled. He mentioned using torque cones. They really do look good but i was looking to get rid of my unbaffled slip-on's so I went a different route. good luck
