superbrace & big thanks
#31
Gotta agree with hungover - finally prised my brace out of the hands of our postal service, fitted last week in literally 10 mins - just slotted right in, didn't have to loosen the pinch bolts even. My Nightster now handles a WHOLE lot better - the winter ripped most of the topcoat off our roads up here so you're riding on the exposed grit core with tramlines all through, it used to feel REALLY scary, like the road was trying to pull the front away all the time. Doesn't now.
Downside is I'm now cornering quicker so I've caught up with HD's lousy fork damping, front bounces from rut to rut in bends and grip is <100%, I'd say maybe 80%-ish. Looks like Intiminators are the next purchase!
Oh, quick word for superbrace - the build quality rocks, it just oozes class. And I'm an engineer for my sins so I know of what I speak! Customer service is good too, helped me find mine in the mists of what passes for our post. Go Superbrace, I'm gonna try and talk my HD dealer into stocking these.
Happy hauling folks
