Default 2005 883 sportster with factory custom paint

I just recently purchased a 2oo5 sportster 883 with a custom paint scheme from the factory it is #24 of 200, as it was purchased from a trade in there wasn't any paper work with it. I was just wondering if anyone knows where it was manufactured and how many different colors it was available in also if anyone has a bike like this please post a pic.

attached are a few pics

It's a "Custom" paint set from HD. You can get custom paint sets on your scoot when you purchase it new through the dealer or you can order a custom HD paint set through the parts catalog. Just find a 2005 parts book, and look in the paint section to see the other custom paint sets that were available.

Somehow, this is the only pic I have access to at the moment. It's apart at the moment getting some new bars. Didn't like my first attempt. Swap meet this weekend for new ideas.

It's called "Radical Paint Set For Sportster Models - Helix".
Located on page 715 of the 2005 Genuine Motor Accessories And Genuine Motor Parts Catalog (P&A catalog). In Grey, part #95737-05BSW available September 2004 and Red, part #95737-05BSV available October 2004. It's listed for $1,949.95. and required the separate purchase of a Bobtail Fender Installation Kit, part #69714-04 ($99.95).
Limited production of 200 hand-numbered sets, in each color. One thing that makes it more special is the Bobtail fender, which went obsolete about 5 years ago. I found the last, new-in-the-box, factory primered Bobtail fender and install kit available anywhere in the USA from a dealer a few years ago, through a network of friends and dealer searches. I'm hoarding it, awaiting a paint job and install. Maybe, this Summer.
That's a sharp looking, rather exclusive paint set ya'all lucked into. The person that sold the bike for 2 grand must have really needed the dough. That's a deal of a lifetime. Enjoy.
