Button on the Left side of handle bar

Alarm Button?
I have a 2004 XLC that I bought used few months ago. There is a button on the left side handle bar that I think is the alarm. Does anyone here knows how its works? Thanks...

On a stock 04, the buttons on the left handlebar are Horn, Headlight Hi/LO, and left turn signal.

Got a picture? Pressing both turn signals simultaneously will activate the hazard lights. Could that be what you are referring to?
