Turn signal malfunction
hey guys, so my left front signal its malfunction. Sometimes he lights up, but then dies. When i move the handlebars from left to right or right to left, he gets in bad contact, the wiring is inside the bar aswell. Im thinking about tear up everything, and search for some broken wire or something, anyone has any ideia?

Obviously, as you already know, something somewhere is loose or making intermittent contact. In the video, you are moving the light housing, the wires and the connector. Not much help in identifying which one it may be. Do you have a tester? Is the light socket in the fixture loose? Can you wiggle it? Is the bulb good? A broken filament can make intermittent contact.
I'm sorry, but you're just going to have to isolate each part and make sure it is good or bad. Wish I could be more encouraging.

I think that I'm on the same trail, but I don't think that the answers posted here are accurate. It's all CANBUS starting in 2014 so you won't find individual wires for the buItons, just 4 wires (Power/Ground/canbus+/canbus-).
I picked up a '14 FLHTP and am looking to find out what I can do with all the existing switches. The front part of the Left Turn signal switch (on the LHCM) is called (according to the '14 Touring service manual) the "Voice Recognition" switch, but there's not a lot of documentation on it other than it works with the BOOM audio system. The Right handlebar (RHCM) has a "PTT" with a Squelch+ and Squelch-.
The odd thing is, in the 2014 Police Service Manual, it talks about pressing the PTT on the RHCM to turn one of the outputs High. There is NO PTT button on the right side. If you look at the parts diagram for the 2014 FLHTP, the LHCM has the PTT on it. I think that's an oops by the tech writers. So as close as I can tell, the "Voice Recognition" for all other FLHT series is the PTT for the Police editions. In that case, there is a Pink/Yellow wire coming out of the ECM that deadends at connector 42 in the fairing on pin 9. I will open up my bike in the next few days to verify it.. If it is as I suspect, I'll be re-routing my stock horn to that and wiring my regular horn button to my Denali Sound Bomb. If anyone has any more info, I'll take it.
Thanks.
