Default Will my Dyna shocks fit a Sportster?

Hi gang,
I recently sold my 2008 Street Bob and am about to buy another Sportster. Before I sold the SB, I removed the Progressive 11 inch shocks. Does anyone know if they will fit a 2005-2007 Sportster? Thanks in advance.

They should work just fine.

Physically fit, yes. But the shocks will likely ride pretty stiff since they are designed for a heavier bike.

I have actually found that the Dyna shocks are softer than Sporty shocks because the working angles are different on the 2 bikes, I tried everything a few years ago after lengthening my swing arm on my 00.

Put Dyna shocks on my 09 1200c and love them. No more hitting bottom on bumps and 2 up.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I haven't bought another bike yet. I am not sure what I am getting next, but I may be living in an apartment for a couple of months until I sell my house here in Oklahoma while I am up in St Louis.

I just installed 10" Dyna progressive shocks on my bike. I had to fashion some 3/4" spacers for the top and 1/2" for the bottom to line them up and keep them outta the belt.
