chopped rear fender
i really like the look of the chopped rear fender ,but don't what to cut the og, could i buy one from like the the 2003-2007 xl models and modified to make it look really low and short? by the way my sporty is a 2010 iron whit no ECM on the rear fender

Well unless you cut the fender struts you are limited to how much you can cut off a fender. You can only cut a few more inches off the stock 883N fender before the fender struts start sticking out beyond the fender. And yes you can get a fender from an 04-07 or even a 2010 fender and be good to go as far as fit.
To me chopping a few more inches off an already chopped fender isn't going to make much of a difference, or be worth the effort.
