Should I put forwards on my Iron?

in my experience the mids give you a bit more "feel" when chucking it round corners. Rode a 1200 with forwards and great on the highway but found them uncomfortable after a while.
i went with some highway pegs and got the best of both worlds - why limit yourself to one or the other

Test rides are really easy to arrange. Just be sure to include your primary riding (city, highway, twisties, whatever) in the test.

I have forwards and they're pretty comfortable. One tip/secret: Get a set of pegs that allows for heel support, otherwise your calf muscles can get sore. I had standard pegs on mine and my legs would ache after some time and it was somewhat difficult to keep my boots on (the pegs were the smallest HD made when I got the bike). I since switched to the Heel Raiser pegs with the swing-out heel rests, and they're great. Keep them in for city riding and easier shifting, then swing them out if I'm going to be cruising. No more tension on my calf muscles! They're wide and long so even someone with big feet will be comfortable, and they make a solid place to stand when I need to get off the seat for a rough RR crossing.
