Default After market forward controls

Hey guys, i'm looking to put forwards on my Iron and was wondering if anyone here has used/installed a set of after market forwards. Opinions are welcome on the different company that offer them.

especially make quality over buying them from my local dealer.

also would the stock 48 forwards fit on the Iron?

Hey Andy, I have a 2015 Iron(same as 2014) and I have 48 forward controls on mine. They can be put on without removing the exhaust if you can work within the small space. I'd say your best bet is to find someone who wants to trade forwards for mids and you could save your money unless, of course, you'd like to keep your mids.

They also make further forward controls; I believe they are aftermarket but not 100% sure. I'd go to the local Harley dealer and sit on a bike with regular forward controls to see if they are what you want. FYI I am 6'1" and the forward controls feel great and much better than mids in my opinion in terms of comfort and ergonomics. Hope that helps.

i am waiting for this set to arrive i am 189cm(don´t know the us lenght) and 155kg(long legs) i just orded the normal set, because the 2" extra is on back ord for 14 days, i did try sitting on a 48 at the dealer and the lengt is okey way better then the std. mids i have on my 2015 iron i don´t like the 48 version because it´s not all black and the ones that i have seen painted look pant´s paint peel´s off very easy.
ill write something in my tread when i have them fitted

Regards
