Default Forward controls

So WOW!

I'm looking to get rid of the mid controls on my "new" '94 883 and install forward controls....but holy expensive.....1000$??

Even ebay is looking like 300-800$. For a bike this old there has to be less expensive out there...or a place selling the "used" ones for folks that don't like forward controls?

Is there a place I haven't found yet to get decent (not show quality, but clean) forward controls for a decent price?

I checked my local HD dealer..and they wanted 800$...plus extra for the "special order".

Thanks!

Greg

I would be willing to sell you mine if they will work on your bike. I think I am going to use some spare parts my buddies have laying around to build me a custom set that are even more forward.

My cheaper solution was to keep my mid controls, but install the adjustable forward pegs for about $150-$200. I'll drop these on this winter, but I've done this on other bikes and it worked out great.

Not quite as good as forwards, but they allow you to stretch your legs when cruising and that makes all the difference.

I was looking at the ones harley offers, but they only have em in chrome. Are you planning to black them out or did you find a aftermarket set?

the kits from Cycle Warehouse (or something like that) advertised on eBay for ~$300 are fine. I just saw some a couple of weeks ago.

This site has had better prices on things I've needed to pick up. And Buick, if you still have your forwards, I'm interested in em.
