Got a Mustang Tripper Solo on a 48?
Anybody have the Mustang Tripper Solo on their 48? How do ya like it? How does it change your seating position? Cycle Source Magazine seems to like it a lot on the 48 (December Issue, Page 46). Been looking around trying to find the right combo. Really like the looks of my spring solo but would also like something to keep me in the saddle longer and give me a reasonable option for 2 up.

Here is a picture...I think the fastback one piece would be a good choice. Looks good in my opinion...but we all know those are like A-holes everyone has one and most stink worse than others.

Hey Pagan. Don't have a 48 but I do have the seat AND the passenger seat. From the rider's side the saddle is very comfortable. Can't compare it to stock seats. I've done 1-2 hour rides with it, no hassles. Its also nice and snug to the frame. I ride much lower and it grips nicely, no shifting or sliding.
From the passenger side of things the passenger seat is NOT NOT NOT for any ride longer than 30 minutes (if that). I ride solo 80% of the time and the Tripper is on. With the OL the Sundowner comes out and gets dusted off.
I chose the Tripper over the La Pera seats for comfort's sake and I chose the Tripper over the other Mustangs and Corbin because its so low profile and no frills.
Hope I could help. Drop me a PM if you need more info.
